3rd TSEKOURAS Prize for Young Economists, 2019
The 3rd Tsekouras Prize for Young Economists was announced in 2020. The Scientific committee was asked to nominate the best papers among the 25 presented papers at the 9th ASECU Youth International Conference and Summer School on the topic Enhancing and managing competitive economics and business environment: Challenges for the South and Eastern European countries and the Black Sea region
The Conference was organized by Ss Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, on the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics’ and it took place in September 2020, in Skopje. Republic of Macedonia.

Α tripartite committee appointed by the Board of ASECU, is asked to evaluate the papers and after their blind review the 3rd TSEKOURAS PRIZE FOR YOUNG ECONOMISTS, 2020 was awarded to the paperTHE ECONOMICS OF NEW ENTERPRISES THE NUMBER OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH ACROSS THE EU DURING 2008-2017 by Konstantinos BAKRI, Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens. GreeceThe President of the Board of ASECU, Prof. Grigoris Zarotiadis announced the prize to the awarded author and gave him the respective grant.
