5th TSEKOURAS Prize for Young Economists, 2021

The 5th Tsekouras Prize for Young Economists was announced in 2023. The Scientific committee was asked to nominate the best papers among the presented papers at the 11th ASECU Youth International Conference & Summer School on the topic "Role of Global Economics and Management in the Process of Transforming to the Sustainable Development".

The Conference was organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, Slovakia and it took place in September 04-10, 2022 in Nitra, Slovakia with the participation of students and Professors from the Universities-members of the Youth Association as well as from other Universities from the area.

According the decision of the Scientific committee of the Youth Conference, the nominated papers where the following:

Sustainability and innovation: the case of Industry 4.0 by Vito Di Sabato, Slovak University of Agriculture, Nitra, Slovakia.

The authors of the papers were invited to present their papers at the 19th ASECU International Conference, on the topic " PRIORITIES AND CHALLENGES OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT " organized by Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE)in May 11-12, 2023 in Yerevan, Armenia.

Α tripartite committee appointed by the Board of ASECU, was asked to evaluate the papers and after their blind review the 5thTSEKOURAS PRIZE FOR YOUNG ECONOMISTS, 2021 was awarded to the paper
